Open Letter to Zookeepers and Other Park Personnel:
We know that you love animals. Otherwise you wouldn't be working with them in the zoo.
We also know that that as a zoo employee, you may witness actions that are not in the best interest of the animals. These situations can be range from neglect to outright abuse and can be downright harmful to the animals in your charge.
We know how frustrating it can be to feel like you can't do anything.
But now you can do something to make positive changes for the animals in your care.
When you reach the point where you're forced to do something or witness something that will injure animals and/or harm their well-being, call us. We can help. And we will keep your identity and the information you provide absolutely confidential - that's a guarantee.
At In Defense of Animals we have worked with numerous zoo personnel over the years. These individuals have provided information that has resulted in exhibit improvements and other positive changes for animals.
Blowing the whistle on animal welfare concerns does not mean that you have to do it in the town square. It's as simple as making a phone call and giving us a heads up with information we can act on to improve the lives of the animals in your zoo.
So call us when you hit the wall in trying to make internal change. We can help you help the animals. Confidentiality is guaranteed.
Learn about our reward for any individual who provides information leading to the conviction of Six Flags or its agents for violations of federal, state or local animal cruelty and/or animal welfare laws.
